We offer daily, short term or long term consultancy support across our fields of expertise to produce agreed results from our service.

Michael Burgoyne
Michael has over two decades of experience working across the field of post-16 education and training from FE colleges to adult community education and the voluntary sector, first as a teacher and then as a middle manager and then as a leader up to being a Vice Principal in a large London college. He brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to any assignment.

A highly experienced leader and manager, consultant and trainer with a background of quality improvement in the post 16 Education and Skills Sector. A strategic thinker, equally able to get involved in day-to-day operational matters, whose approach to leadership and management consistently secures excellent results.
Michael is used to public speaking and engaging with large and small audiences in training workshops, seminars and lectures.
Proficient in curriculum design and development, quality assurance and quality improvement. A champion of inclusivity and diversity developing and maintaining kitemarks from Stonewall and Investors in Diversity and supporting maintenance in Investors in People (Gold) and Matrix accreditation.
Michael also has experience in teacher training delivery and professional teacher development along with a wide variety of coaching and mentoring experience to managers and new leaders. His coaching has included working with new middle managers and leaders across the post-16 education sector. He specialises in one-to-one phone or online sessions with flexible times. He offers in-person coaching on or off-site as part of a negotiated package. He uses a GROW methodology in his coaching and upholds the ethics of the Association of Coaching in his practice. He holds a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring along with a Level 5 in Management.
Results-orientated and committed to helping others achieve their potential. Michael has a proven track record of improving the professional practice of teachers, managers and leaders in numerous educational and training settings together with extensive Ofsted preparation and inspection experience across the post-16 education landscape. Michael has a PGCE for post-16 education, Masters in Education along with a Certificate in ISO 9001:2015.
Michael is also currently undertaking research for his part-time doctoral studies in education leadership with a focus on the impact of external quality mechanisms on supporting improvement in post-16 education at University College London, Institute of Education.
Our Coaching & Training Affiliates
Alongside Michael's own coaching and mentoring service, he has access to offer the highest quality mentors and coaches from his network of associates.
Our affiliate coaches have coaching qualifications at Level 5 or above. They all subscribe to the ethics and standards of the Association of Coaching and follow a GROW model approach. They bring empathy, tact and insight into coaching from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences largely from education and training, but also small business and the third sector.
Our affiliates work by phone and e-meet ups and offer a flexible time and day that is mutually convenient. Rates for coaching vary depending on duration and the coach.
